On 28th July, Phil and Ian spent a beautiful sunny day at Howe Road Recreation Ground supporting the Motiv8 Gosport Summer Passport event.
 

It was another busy and thoroughly enjoyable day, meeting lots of young people for the first time as well as catching up with some familiar faces from last year and youngsters we’ve previously worked with through the 7th Scout troops.
 

There was a real mix of experience too: from complete beginners trying martial arts for the very first time to young people already on their own martial arts journey.
 

Days like this are exactly why we enjoy supporting community events so much. It’s an opportunity to give something back, introduce young people to some new martial arts skills and hopefully show them just how much fun getting active and trying something different can be.
 

It’s a real privilege to be invited along, and even better to see so many young people getting involved, having a go and enjoying themselves.
